The BTC Foundation exists for you, the hard-working students of BTC. Our mission is to provide you with opportunities to obtain training and education that can lead to family-wage jobs right here in our region.

We honor your sacrifices and commitment to a better future by partnering with generous community members and businesses to develop scholarship programs that help you complete your program.

Scholarship facts:

•

Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000.

While we cannot guarantee you will receive a scholarship, we provide resources to help you put together the best possible application, which can improve your chances.

BTC Foundation staff will help determine which scholarships are the best fit for you, so you don’t have to decide which to apply for.

We offer a variety of scholarships. Some require a minimum GPA, or enrollment in a specific program. Others require volunteer service or demonstrated financial need. Still others are open to students in all programs, and have fewer requirements.

Every BTC student qualifies for a scholarship, but to be eligible you must fill out the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) first. Find out more on the FAFSA website or visit the Student Financial Resources Office in the College Services building.

Lummi Tribal Members may qualify for a full-ride scholarship. For details, visit the ConocoPhillips Lummi Tribal Scholarship page, or contact Brad Tuininga at the BTC Foundation office at 360-752-8378.

Scholarship applications are available online only the first day of Spring Quarter. Submit your application as soon as possible.
