Thank you for your interest in supporting BTC's equipment needs!
Due to state funding cuts, BTC has had to make some difficult budget decisions for both the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 fiscal years. The budget line item for equipment purchases was eliminated altogether in 2008-2009 and for the upcoming fiscal year, the amount of money allocated for equipment purchases falls far short of what is needed. Workforce education and skills training relies heavily on state-of-the-art equipment. Some of our programs are currently making do with out-dated or non-functioning equipment that must be replaced if our programs are to remain on the cutting edge. Other programs—Electro-Mechanical Technology, Veterinary Technician and Dental Hygiene—need an infusion of equipment to set up new labs.
YOU CAN HELP! Please make a donation today towards the purchase of critical program equipment. If you wish….
If you have a piece of equipment listed below and would like to donate it directly to the College please contact Mary Humphries or Brad Tuininga in the Foundation Office.
Thanks for your support!

The EMTEC program will be offering a full-time, daytime schedule of courses for the first time this fall and will be moving into the new Waterfront Innovation Zone down at the Port of Bellingham. This is the first building to be redeveloped as part of the Port’s waterfront renovation project. The Port, BTC and WWU are partnering to remodel and utilize this space. BTC will need to equip the EMTEC lab in this space.
