Thank you for your interest in donating an item to support the educational pursuits of Bellingham Technical College. In-kind gifts are an important way BTC is able to keep our program labs equipped with the technology to successfully train the next generation of skilled workers.

If you have an item you would like to donate please visit our Program Equipment Page to see a list of our current and most urgent needs. If the item you wish to donate is not on this list please contact Brad Tuininga or Mary Humphries in the Foundation Office and we will gladly check with BTC staff, instructors and/or deans to see if the item can be used in one of our program labs or elsewhere on campus.

If a faculty or staff member at BTC has accepted your offer of donated goods please fill out and sign the Gift In-Kind form and return it to the Foundation Office (see Contact Us page). We will be happy to work with you to arrange drop-off, delivery or pick-up of the donated item.

IRS Information on In-Kind Giving

For IRS information on claiming in-kind charitable contributions on your tax return please see Instructions on Form 8283. You can also download Form 8283 for your tax return. Upon receiving your gift, Bellingham Technical College Foundation - a 501(c)(3) charitable organization - will provide you with receipt of your donation.
